DEATH OF WM GRANDY.
William Grandy, of Deckerville,
Mich., Canada near Toronto, died
suddenly at his home early Friday
morning, March 22, 1907, Mr,
Grandy was married to Eliza Fol -
lock and to them were born nine
children, one girl died young and
the eight children now living are,
Mis. Gilbert Teeple, Albert B.
Grandy, and Mrs. 'Walter Hurley,
of Deckerville, Robert H., of Cros-
well, John W., William W., R.
Findley, and R. Edwin, of Detroit
Mrs. Grandy, mother of these
children, died March 26. 1882. In
1894 Mr. Grandy was harried to
Miss Albina Grain, of Hensall, who
with the children, mourn the loss
of a kind husband and dutiful par-
ent-
Mr. Grandy lived in Michigan
first at North St. near Port Huron,
and in 1887 moved to Dockerville
where he made a comfortable home.
Tiae funeral was held in the
Presbyterian church Sunday after-
noon and the remains interred in.
the D and D cemetery.
Mr. Grandy's life wasa thorough
christian Character, of even tem-
perament and kind ways and he
was a life long member of M. E.
church. The community loses a,
grand good old man and the family
have the sympathy of this entire

residents of this section, as he for-
merly lived in this section, and
conducted a general store here

In e. bar room fight at the King
Edward. hotel, Goderich, a few
nights agog a large mirror in the
barand most of the windows in the
front of the hotel were broken. It
appears that two brothers, Jack
and Pat Kennedy, wore fighting in
the bar, when their sisters attempt
ed to go in.and bring them out. The
bartender prevented them from do-
ing this, and in the general mix-up
which followed serious damage was
done to the property. The two
brothers were arrested and put in
the lock-up for the night. Their
fun will likely cost them dearly.
Mrs. Chas. Lindenfeld, sr., died

the home of her. son Ghas. du March 26th, aged 70 years.
The deceased had been ailing for
some time - Mrs. Lindenfeld was
born in New York, and at the age
of .seven cable with her parents and
settled in Waterloo county. After
her marriage to her husband, who
predeceased her tea years ago, Mr.
and Mrs. Lindenfeld settled in
Stephen. A number of years ago
they moved to Dashwoocl. She is
survived by three sons and five
daughters, Albert, of Detroit, Chas.
of Exeter, and William of Vancouv-
er, and Mrs.Markey. of East Tawas

home.
