The local option by-law, which was voted on by .Ailsa Craig rate- payers at the last municipal elec- tions, has been quashed. The votes cast were 104 for, and 70 against, and the number of votes required to carry local option was 104 2-5. Mr. Isaac Hudson, of the Parr Line, Stanley, has disposed of his 125 -acre farm to Andrew Love'of the same line for $5500.00.
