GRAIN AND SEEDS.
As the company clause in the
school act fixing a minimum salary
for teachers conies into effect on
January lst, trustees and teachers
must take a moral bracer or there
may be trouble. The teacher who
accepts less than the minimum will
fare like the doctors who advertise
—the department will suspend and
perhaps cancel his certificate:
Trustees who offer less than the
law specifies will forfeit that a,
mount for partition among the
other school sections of the town-
ship concerned.
Who wouldn't be a farmer?There
is just one trouble, only the farriers.
know how to farm. There are
thousands who would like to quit
the towns and emigrate to the
country, and possess themselves of
broad fertile fields, and proceed to
make two blades of this, that or
the other grow where one or none
grew before, but this preposition
presents the fact that it takes from
two to twenty years to learn how
to farm (some folks never learn)
and within such a periodbankrupt-
cy might occur several times over.
But if all of us cannot be farriers
all can admire the horny -handed
son of toil and rejoice with him in
the present great prosperity. He
is the bulwark of the nation and
the salt of the earth,
15 cents for Tru Taal Hs1ALD to the
end of the year.

THE ST
PE QUESTIDN
is easily dec:ded if you
buy a PANDORA Range.
Every dealer claims to
have the best stove even
if they just launch out.
But if an explanation is
required that is where the
PANDORA shines, and
the other fellows are out
of the game.
HE PANDORA is the range where the fire
circulates twice around the oven before it
strikes the pipe, and it is the -only one an
the market to do this. This range has been on
the market only four years and during that time
160,000 have been sold. No other stove has Won
such a reputation.
The PANDORA is made by a firm with 60 years experience and
is today the largest firm unclear the British flag. Yon can al-
ways get repairs not like some stove firms in business today and
gone to -morrow, We have a full line of heating stoves and
prices as usual, always the cheapest.
Also largest stock of HARNESS, ROBES and BLANKETS. Call and see.
