The building gang of. the G. T. R.
now at work at Kincardine will- be here
and at Exeter this week or two and
will erect the two' passenger stations
at the same time. Had Exeter station
not heen burned Hensall would likely
have had to wait a considerable time
longer, but 'the officials' saw the ad -
vane of erecting the structures at
the se time. Both stations will be
very handsome and comraodious.
Mr Wm Bissett who is well known
and for many years ian a livery stable
here, died at his home Wednesday
morning after an ilines cif several
months
A number from here attended
the funeral on Saturday last, of the
late D. Richie Elliott, whose death
occurred at his home in St. Pani,
Minn., on Nov. 1, his remains
being interred in the familyi plot
in the Fairfield cemetery. Mr.•
Elliott was at one time employed
as clerk with the late James Pick-
ard and had many warm friends
who mourn his early demise.
Mr. and Mrs. S. C. Bawden and
Miss F. Bawden leave this week
for Ridgetown, where they will
visit friends for a couple of weeks .
