BASEBALL An interesting game of baseball was played on the Exeter diamond on 'Tuesday et ening between the Zurich and Exeter juniors, when the tie was played off between those two teams. The result was very 'eatisfactory to the Zurich boys as the score shows, The Exeter team was outplayed in every stage of the game, tad Zurich's pitcher, Hoffman, again demonstrated that he is "some" ball tosser, He struck out ten men, while Bissett, Exeter's slab artist, struck out six. 1 he fifth innings was Zurich's all the way, when they pounded the ball over the diamond, naa, king no less than eight runs, enough to win the game. The plttiyit g was fast and snappy and leavirg oat the fifth innings was a good exhibition of ball, The lin•-tap Zurich Bender 2b Brandt ss Eil bet Hoffman Ladouauer 3rd Edighoffer let Koehler If Web r r' flowild of aoore Be Innings 1'2'34;567 Zairieh 1. 1 0 0 8 1 0 Exrstat, 0 0 0 1. 2 0 0.. •C7taspiram - urni and Exeter Daplan Mellott H'iskins .Bissett Birney Steer Pole Grigg P. esza'tor 8 0 R E 00 119 t 1 1 5 5 (i Boyle CARD OF TIIANR8.
