Finlay hada colt fall into a well last week, but with the assistance of the neighbors it was removed not much the worse. Mr. Menno Oesch Sr., is poorly at present but we hope to hear of his early recovery. Messrs, Alex and Ford sons of G. (parks, are home from the West. Miss Sara Allan has been spend. ing a few holidays, with friends in Galt. Mr. A. T. Douglas is having the phone installed. Butchering is now the order of the day. Mr. and Mrs. W. Ronnie were visiting friends in Exeter, this week. Christmas is drawing near and we are all joyfully looking forward to the festive season. Mr. R. N. Douglas is having loads of fowl delivered this week. Word was received this week from Hamilton announcing the death of the only surviving sister of Mr. R. .Allan. Robert Jr. left on Wednesday to attend the funeral to be held Thursday. Mrs. Swavze left on Wsdnesday for Michigan, where she intends spending the winter with her daughters. While engaged in threshing clover for J.
