Mr. John Laporte bas delivered alarge quantity of new hay in town, the past two weeks. Mr. David Book, who has been employed on the tunnel between Windsor and Detroit is laid up with an attack of typhoid fever. Mrs. Bock left for Windsor this week. While painting the roof on Mr. G. Merner's block, P. Sipple ao- cidentiy slid down, but caught on the eavetrough with one hand, where he hung, over twenty-five feet above the cement walk, until a ladder was secured.
