A very enjoyable evening was
spent at the box social, on Friday.
Considering the showery appettr.
ance of the weather, there was a
large attendance and, all were well
pleased. with the splendid program,
which. was well performed. by mere
amateurs. The solos sang by Miss
Disjardine, with her rich melodious
soprano, were greatly admired by
all present. Great competitton was
exercised in the purchase of boxes,
which were all sold with success
by Mr. J. Disjardine. The cone-
mitiee greatly thanks those who
were so kind. as to lend their
assistance in this entertainment.
May this be a commencement of a
boom in our rather undisturbed
et ty.
