The editor of a newspaper is of ten accused of leaving out certain items of news purposely, because• of a dislike to the person to be mentioned or from prejudice or another cause. ,This is all bosh. The editor has something like a million different things to think of in connection with the issue of his paper ttnd it is not surprising if he misses an item occasionally or somethnes forgets one which has been callctl to his attention. Nine out of ten people soli• ask for news items will tell you they can't think of any But in most oases they expect the editor to think of them all and criticise him if ho fails in a single. item. The best way is to give the editor credit for what he does find and mention, and for some things that ho does find and doesn't mention.
