Much sympathy is felt. for Mr.
Jacob Kellerman, who is suffering
a great deal of pain in his leg of
late, apparently. it makes no ina-
prevenient and it is thought by
some that amputation will be
necessary to effect a cure.
Mr. Samuel Kraft returned home
from the West to spend the winter.
Mrs. Andrew Truemner of De-
troit is at present visiting among
relatives in this eommunity. •

and Miss Violet of Durhani model

ratepayers of the .Townsliik,,,,to Ray, the coat of these bridges and culverts in the

Be it therefore emantekby riee.municipal council of the corporation of.the
Township of Flay as follows: ' .
1. --It shall be lawfill'for the Reeve and Treasurer of the Township of Hay,
to bovrow on the credit ofTh
,e said corporation of the Township of Hay the sum of-
ten thousand dollars, being •the funds necessary to pay the cost of building of per-
manent bridges and culverts in the Said Township, and the Reeve and Treasurer may
issue debentures tothat amount in auras of $1000, each and payable within ten years
from the date thereof, with inteliest at; the -rate of five per centum per annum, that
is to say in ten coneecutive' installments the first of which shall become due and
payable on the ir,th day of Deeember A. D. 1910. And all such debentures shall be
signed by the Reeve and Treasurer of the Township and shall have the seal of the
corporation of the township • of Hay, attached to them, The debentures shall be
payable at the Molsons Bank Zurich Ontario, and shall have attached to them
coupons for the payment ef interest which shall be paid yearly.
2. -For paying tha , stun of $10,000, and for covering interest thereon for 10
years, at the rate of 5 per eentum per annum, the following special rates over and
above all other rates shall annually be assessed and levied against all the ratable
property in the township and shall be collected in the same manner and at the same
time as other rates and taxes are levied and collected upon and from the 'total rat-
able property of the township and the amount of the said special rate and interest
against the total assessment of the township shall be divided into 10 parts and such
part shall be assessed levied and collected as aforesaid, in each year for 10 years
after the final passing of this By-law during which the said debentures have to run
and in the manner as follows:
