The R. 0, church of 'this parish,
was the scene of a pretty wedding
pertormed by Rev. J. A. Loiselle
on the 23rd, when Miss Matilda
Daeharme, was made the happy
bride of Mr: Joseph Rondeau of
laprisce Michigan, Alpena County.
The bride was supported by her
niece, Miss Celina, while Philip
Bedard acted as best man. After
the ceremony' was solemnizecl the'
rest of the day was spent at the
bride's home, where a very enjoy-
able tithe was spent by all the
numerous friends and relatives
that were present. The bride and
groom received many presents to
confirm their popularity with their
many friends. Mr. and Mr, Ron -
dean intend making their future
home at Spruce, wishing them with.
all surronndingfriends a happy and
prosperous married life.
Miss Julia Duehartne, who has
been at'Oourtright. for the past five
menthe, is visiting with her brother
David, at present.

A. By-law to prohibit the sale by. retail at spirituous,
fermented or other manufactured liquors in. the Mu-:
• nicipality of the TOwriebip of Hay the County of
Huron.
The Municipal Couttailo, the Township of Hay, hereby enacts as follows:
1. --That the sale by •," tail of spirituous, fermented, or other manufactured
liquors is and shall be prohiln el in every eavern, inn or other house or place of pub-
lic entertainment in the said rehnieipality, and the tale therefor, except, by whole.
sale, is and shall bo prohibited in every shop or placceoeher than a house of public en-
tertainment in the said munielietlity.
2. -That the vow of the 'electors of the :mid Township of Hay will be taken On
this by-law by the deputy -returning officers hereinafter named on Monday the third
day of January One Thousand Nur Hundred and Ten eornmencing at nine o'clock in
the morning and centinuingunt it live o'clock in the afternoon at the undermeetioned

4.-Tbat the Clerk of said Muuieipal Coaneil of the Township of Hay shall
attend at his Office

fourth clay of January A. D., 910, to sum up the number of votes given for and
against this By-law.
5. -This By-law shall e into force and take effect as from the first day of
May next after the final passm„ thereof.

To provide for the issue of $10,000,00 Debentures to pay the cost for per-
manent Bridges end euiverts in the Township of Hay.
Whereas it isneeessalto build many culverts and some bridges of a per-
manent nature.
And whereas the conned is of opinion that, it would be burdensome to the
ratepayers of the Township, to pay the cast of these bridges and culverts in the
short space of time in whieleiley require to be built:

debenture debt.
