It is true, as some writer has wisely observed, that "It is the mother's sunny smile that starts the day happily, or her frown that mars the day for members of her household. In order to command love and respect, mother must, first o all; have full control of her temper ; must be able to appear happy uncler trying . conditions; must have learned to govern her- self ; and have reason to respect herself, or she will fail where she should reign supreree." Not an easy task-nity, 'a diffionit one at times, and one requiring the divine ,patience that (Hod gives to some wives and mothers. There is many a great moral victory bactr of the mother's smile, back of her self control, beck of the careful Shard she puts upon her tongue, No mother ever reigns worthily in her own little home kingdom with• otic achieving a great many moral victories and without winning the alaprgving smile of God. --Faith Fenton. It is the medium through which the town espealts to the outside world and is the means of cum- munication between the people of the vicinity. Long ago, under inspiration, it was written, "No roan ever hvet]i to himself," and this truth was never more appar- ent that it is to.O, y. No man can retire from activity and live. He retest know what is • going on about him, and the world must know what he is doing. The use of the Newspaper is the best plan by which it is carried on, Drive Rheumatism out of the blood with Dr. Shoop's Rheumatic Remedy and see how quickly pain will depart. Rath -ons never did reach the real disease. Rheumatism isn't in the skin. It's deep down— it's constitutional. Getting ridof the pain, is after all, what counts. That is why Dr. Shoop's Rheumatic Remedy goes, by word of mouth front one to another. And herein lies the popularity of this Remedy. It is evinnini defenders every, where, 1'ablete or Liquid.
