.After a sickness of six weeks,
Mr. John Arthur Reichert was
called from the scenes of his labors
ou earth to his reward in heaven.
The funeral took place on Friday
the 26th of February. After a
brief service at the • horse, opened
by a song of the school children
and the interment on the Lutheran
cemetery, a memorial service was
held. in St. Peter's Lutheran church
Rev. C. C. J. Maass preached a
German sermon from Jer. 31.3 and
an English sermon from Rom. 8.18.
Froin the necrology we quote as
follows:. John Arthur Reichert,
youngest; child. of Mr. Hy. Reichert
and Oatbarine (nee) Dietz, was
born in Hay township the 7th of
December • 1893. In due time he
passedthrough the various dopar t.
men ts of the public school. After
having received religious instruc-
tion he was confirmed on the 12th
of April 1po8. He always enjoyed
good he ith that enabled him to
;la ell ks"er on the " farm. Six
weeks ago he failed in health. but
wits able to be around for a few
hours a day-, His sickness assumed
a very severe form on Tuesday, the
23rd of February, The physician
who was' summoned at once could
not give any hope and the same
evening at 11.45 the patient had to
succumb at the age of 15 years, 2
months and 16 days. The bereaved
family has the most heartfelt
sympathy of friends and neighbors.

Nothing in the way of a Cough
is quite so annoying as a tickling,
teasing, wheezing, bronchia -Cough.
The quickest relief comes perhaps
from a prescription known to drug-
gists everywheee as Dr Shoop's
Cough Remedy. .And besides, it
is so thoroughly harmless that
mothers give it with perfect safety -
even to the -youngest babes. The
tender leaves of a simple mountain
shrub, give to Dr Shoop's Cough
Remedy its remarkable curative
effect. A few days' test will tell,
