TWO POPULAR TEACHERS
WEDDED
Another of those pleasing events
-which mark an important stage in
man's life, was solemnized at the
beautiful home of Mr. and Mrs. P.
Koehler, on Monday Dec. 28. when
their daughter Miss Clara, was
united 111 wedlock to Mr. Alex Mc-
Leod of Baylield, principal of our
public school. The ceremony was
performed by Rev. A. D. Gischler,
pastor of the Evangelical church,
at 5 p. ni. The bride looked charm.
ing and exceedingly sweet, gowned
in a lace robe over taffeta, silk, and
carrying a beautiful bouquet of
carnations. Tho wedding march
• -was played by the bride's sister,
Miss Ada Koehler. After hearty
congratulations, the bridal party
repaired to the dining roorn,
which was prettily decora.ted for
the auspicious occasion, where a
sumptuous wedding supper was
• served. The bride, who has spent
nearly all her life in &tech, having
also taught school for a number of
years, is held in high esteem by
her many friends. That the groom
is considered one of the most suc-
cessful public school teachers in
the county, is evident from the
number of years be has been prin-
• cipal of our school, during which
time he bas discharged his duties
most admirably. He is considered
a. man among men. That they may
• live long to enjoy wedded bliss is
the wish of their many friend.
