A little paper devoted -to news usually heard.
and seen around a General and Hardware Store.
Don't neglect your barn, wt ich is the most impor-
tant building on the place.
Of course you use paint on your house and out -buildings, and
for the same reason you should use paint on your barn. Paint
is not only meant to make buildings look better but its most
important use is on account of the protection it affords against
the attacks of the weather,
A well painted barn will keep in good repair for a century
while an unpainted, neglected, building will go to pieces in a
quarter of that time. Come and see us today about special barn
paints.

HICK'S FORCASTS
A Regular Storm Period is at its
centre on the 7th., covering the 5th.
to the 10th. The full moon on the
5th will increase the tendency to fall-
ing barometer and general storm con-
ditions at the beginning of this period
Possibly causing the preceding distur-
bances to hold over and blend with
this period. From about the 7th, to
the loth—notable on the 811 and 9611
look for marked barometerric depress-
ions, threatening August clouds, with
violont thunder gusts. It is a fact
worth repeating --a fact that every
observer may and should prove for
himself ---that the passage of the
Boon over the celestial equator, es-
lecially at or near full or new Moon
is almost invariably attended by a de-
:i:led increase of temperture ending in
stories of lighting, 'thunder and wind.
