The full moon on the 5th will increase the tendency to fall- ing barometer and general storm con- ditions at the beginning of this period Possibly causing the preceding distur- bances to hold over and blend with this period. From about the 7th, to the loth—notable on the 811 and 9611 look for marked barometerric depress- ions, threatening August clouds, with violont thunder gusts. It is a fact worth repeating --a fact that every observer may and should prove for himself ---that the passage of the Boon over the celestial equator, es- lecially at or near full or new Moon is almost invariably attended by a de- :i:led increase of temperture ending in stories of lighting, 'thunder and wind.
