Ladies Aid. of the Methodist` church
on Tuesday evening:,in the Foresters'
Hall.
Mr Chas Zwicker shipped a carload
of beans on Tuesday.

Mr. Jacob Brown of Zunich was in
town on Monday.

" The council of the corporation of
the County of Huron will meet in the
council chamber, in the town of God-
erich, on Tuesday the 27th day of

in the 'village. The Police Trustees are circulating
petition,to annex five acres at the
north end. The property is owned,

Memory on which a dwelling is being
now completed; thre-tenths by the
Mennonite congregation and the re-
mainder, by Mr. E. Zeller, who is
now making plans to subdivide
divide about foar acres into building
lots;

Preparations for the building of
the church sheds of the Evan. church
are progressing very stisfactorily. Al-
ready about 90 loads of gravel and a
large quantity of stone have been de-
livered. The building of the truss
work and roof have already been let,
and the conuinitte is ready to receive
figures for the work of building the
concrete wall 150150 feet etc, the
church furnishing the gravel :.ud ce-
cement. For particulars apply to

returned to their home in. Saline,
