way -over the probosed route for the

estimate of the cost of construction
maintainance and operation and the
revenue to be derived. This will be
made to have the raport ready for
the next meeting of the county coun-
cil which meets in December.
The proposed line would be run by
hydro power and power can be . sup-
plied to farmers and others for eight
miles on eitcler side. This would give
municipalities power for lighting and
other purposes at a very moderate
cost.
At the last session of the legisl
vire an act was passed whereby a
municipality may have a survey ma
to determine the possible cost a
revenue. The Goderich Board
trade took the matter up and sent
delegation to Toronto. The neces
ark, order in council was secured a

THE CHURCH HONORS HIM
The Rev. C.C. Sink is a striking fi-
gure in Ministerial Circles.
Among the striking figures in Min-
isterial Circles of our city is Rev. C.
C. Sink, who is now 88 years old.
The Rev gentleman has been a res-
ident of the north, end for many years
and is highly respected for his excell-
ent drgrees. Upon him has fallen
the degree of an hononradle retire-
ment from the activities of the min-
istery by his brethren composing the
Flint Presbyterian of Michigan.
Mr. Sind has made Port Huron his
chosen city and expects leave to close
the busy scenes of his earthly Pil-
grimage. Mr. Sink was born -in Her.
kemer county, New York on March
29th. 1825. Ho Was educated in the
state of his birth, and began his w.irk
of pteaching there. He has been hon
ored in the past by a number of im-
portant churches.
Mi. Sink still maintains as a min-
ister, and belongs with his family to
the Westminster Presbyterian Church
at the North end. His old age has
been made by a well spent life and
we hope he will reap a reward of his,
labors.
