-Next Sunday J une.,13 is known as
World's Sunday School Day , and
Sunday Schools ''everywhere are
uniting in prayer for each other
and the Seventh World's S. S. Con•
vention now in Session in Zurich
Switzerland. The special order of
service which has been prepared by
the International . Committee has
been printed in over 100 languages
and•dialects and will be used in
every Continent and in many is
Iands of the sea. Ministers of the
gospel in all landS are asked to
make special reference to it and
emphasize•the value of the. S. S. as
an ageno, for the ex'ension of
the Kingdom of God and urging
upon parents and guardians the
duty of turning the youth in know
ledge of the scripture.
"Zurich, June 80.—Nearly a score
Berlin business men arrived here in
autos last week, remaining for several
clays. They said they were on a plea-
sure trip to the lake, hearing by the
papers that fishing was good at this
point. They carried with them fish
poles etc., it is hinted that their real
mission was more closely connected
With a scheme to get direct•communi-
cation through a railway from Berlin,
by the way of. Zurich to the •lake.
Just what railroad is behind the
scheme is not known, but from the
interest, taken in this district by the
visitors one would assume 'that some-
thing will be doing in the near future-
towards
uturetowards arailway to connect Zurich
district with the large cities of the
province at least.
The above is clipped from the Ber-
lin Telegram, and was no doubt copi-
ed from another city daily. Much as
we would like railway facilities, we
are'sure this artcle is a "pine dream."
If twenty Berlin Dutchmen strike
this bur; at ono time, we will giye
the event a column write-up, fitting
the occasion.
