Mr. Geo. Holtzman is confined to
the house from blood poison in his
knee, at present he is suffering much
pain. We hope to see him about as
usual, in a short time.
The union Sunday School from
Centinary near Park -hill held a picnic
at the Bend, on Saturday. There was
a splendid program of races and
sports and an enjoyable day was spent
by all.
Mr. Fraser Brown is proud of his
Ford car and of its strength and
power, and on Saturday tested its
strength by running into a herd. of
cows. No damage was clone to the
machine but the cows received a good
shaking up. "
The frost on Sunday night did con-
siderable.damage to the garden stuff.
Tomatoes, beans and potatoes suffered
the most.
Mrs. Dan Oestreicher left Tuesday
for Tavistock to attend the funeral of
her cousin, the late Mrs, Lingebock
which took place on Wednesday.

tied up. A number of the animals bit-
ten are under quarantine are being
closely watched. The mad dog ap-
peared very unexpectedly on Sunday,
and had bitten a number of animals,
