We hope to see him about as usual, in a short time. The union Sunday School from Centinary near Park -hill held a picnic at the Bend, on Saturday. There was a splendid program of races and sports and an enjoyable day was spent by all. Mr. Fraser Brown is proud of his Ford car and of its strength and power, and on Saturday tested its strength by running into a herd. of cows. No damage was clone to the machine but the cows received a good shaking up. " The frost on Sunday night did con- siderable.damage to the garden stuff. Tomatoes, beans and potatoes suffered the most.
