Everybody is welcome. In the death of Mr. Abraham Lehman our village loses one of its oldest and most respected oil izens. The deceased was in his usual health up to a short time ago, and had reached the age of over eighty two years. He is survived by his widow, two sons, William of London and Abraham of Mich igan and four daughters, who have the sincere sympathy in their loss. The funeral tales place to (Friday) at 1.30 p. tti., the inter- ment in the Bronson Line cemet- ery. Lutheran Church—On Sunday, Easter will be celebrated in St.Peter's Lutheran church in commemoration of the resurrection of Christ. The morning service will be conducted in German and the evening service in English. In conneccion .with the morning service the Sacrament at. the Altar will be dispersed. The offering will be for the benefit of brave mis- sionary work. All are cordially in- vited to attend. Spring Show Entire Stock and Harnese Horses The annual Spring Show of stallions, Harness Horses and Bulls, under the auspices of the South Huron Agricul- tural Society, will be held in BRUCEFIELD Wednesday, April 2, 1913. All the exhibitors must become members of the Society by paying one dollar to the Secretary, Entries can be made with the Secretary at Walksr's hotel, until 11 o'clock on the morning of the show. Prize mon- ey 'will be paid by the secretary, at Walker's Hall, after the awards have been made by the judges. Arrange ments will be made to have ample ac- commodation for all horses. From the indications the Clinton Spring Fair, set for Thursday, April 3rd, will be orifi of the best that has yet. been held. There are many fine horses and cattle in this and the ad- jacent counties this year and the general, expression of opinion is.. that Many of these will be seen in' Clinton on April 3rd Many good prizes are offered for Clydesdale, Shire, Percheron Roadster and Hackney stallions, as well as heavy draft, agricultural and general purpose horses, together with Shorthorn, Herford, Polled Angus, dairy and fat cattle. This Fair is known through Western Ontario as one pf the best Spring Fairs held. Thirteen special prizes are offered in ,gold coin and in addition the Associa- tion will also give thirty dollars in gold for a counties competition, open to the counties of Huron, Perth, Bruce and Middelsex, for the best three heavy draft horses, stallions barred, shown in halter, not necessarily the the property of any one man but must be owned in the county represented.
