E Handfordhaye returned to town after ponding some weeks visiting in Now YorkToronto, Si; Thomas, and Ingersol. While away Mr. Handford purchased a residence in Ingersol and expects to move there the beginning of April. Mr. Haudford and family have been valued residents of our town and have many friends by whom they will be greatly missed. Mrs. Rev. Fear of Blyth, spent the week end with her daughter Mrs. N. S. Howey. Mrs. Tuckey of St. Johns, is the guest of her mother Mrs, Rev. Pow- ell. CALIFORNIA Messrs Albert and Ezra Wein and a numcler of the Exeter Gun Chub members attended the Oyster Supper Shoot on Friday near Farquhar. Albert was high pian in the Merch- andise Event. Everybody enjoyed a good days sport. Mr. and Mrs. John Roeszler were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Heist on Wednesday last. Messrs. Rev. E. Burn and Mr. Keinzlo were busy collecting money for the church sheds on Thursday. Messrs Albert and Ezra Wein at- tended the shooting match at Exeter sei Thursday. The proceeds amounted to about $20 to go towards a new church. We are glad to see Mrs. John Baird around again .aftar being confined to the house for some tirne.
