PREACHING,
This bard is something of a teacher
and now and then a sort ef preacher.
Although he writes his foolish jokes`
in 'hope that they will tickle belles,
you maybe notice, dairies and gents,
they oft contain a bit of sense. My
father preached the good old word and
spoke with power tp all who heard,
and I am Sobered when I ponder that,
scattered here to way out yonder, 1
speak to groups and eongregations
that stretch a,cross two mighty na-
tions. In Canada and U. S. A., wbee-
ever editors will pay, subscribers
read the weekly porne which I ex-
tract from my bald dome. I find
this life and its hereafter a cause for
teaes as well as laughter. Come let
its take this denied old world, where
we without our with were burled, arid
trim her down and teach her grace,
and make her such a decent place that
every dweller far and near'shall get
two grins for every tear, And when
my muse from time to time pours eat
deep wisdom in her rhyme, -0 0frieieds,
you'll dodge a lot of aches. If you
will learn from my mistakes. I give
you lessons life has brought me—be-
sides some few that Hannah taught
me. ' BOB ADAMS.
Nothing Like It
SaysMrs. Carbutt
Mimico Lady is Rapidly. Improving,
• and Gives All Credit to Dreco.
Mrs.S-5, Garbutt, of 55 Robert,
Street, Mienico, is another Toronto
lady who has „tried and proved the
merit of, Drees as a health -builder.
Mrs. Garbutt's daughter describes her
Mother's symptoms and the remark-
able effect Dreco has had on them,
in, the following statement:
• "Mother has suffered severely from
rheumatism for quite some 'time,
causing terrible pains in her joints,
Her stomach too, was. in very poor
condition, • Her food soured, result-
ing in gas, and finally "she lost her ap-
petite and could eat hardly anything
without 'Suffering 'afterwards.
"Site always had a paitr across her
back from her kidneys, and at. times.
, .
could hardly -bend over.' -Her system
became very weak and run-down. -
• "We tried everything possible, but
.our praise is all for Dreco, as it has
done, her more -good in just a short
time than anything else we have ever
• tried. The paiiis in her back and
joints' are almost gone. Her appetite
is now good, she is much strong.er
and looks better ineevery way, She
thinks there is nothing like Dreco
and we are all so glad to notice the
change. Dreco has proved its worth
to us and we highly recommend it.”
Dreco will always prove helpful- in
such , cases .if .given a fair trial. It'
corrects digestive ailments and builds
up the system generally by the nat-
ural action of its herbs, root, bark
and leaf juicea. • Dreeo contains no
mercury, potash or habit forming
drugs. •
Dreco is being specially introduced
in Wingham by J. Walton McKibbon,
and is sold by a good druggist every-
where,
