The Dominion Day Celebration at
Wingham, considering the fact that
about half of the citizens of town were
away for the holiday, was fairly
couraging: for those who try to put
,ia:elebration to find the people so
ilgdifferent. The total proceeds will
scarcely pay expenses.
The morning automobile
and bicy-
cle parade brought out two contest-
ants, Miss Eleanor MacLean's bicyc-
le and an exceptionally fine float be-
longing to Mr. Brawley, Neither of
these were decorated for; the fun of it,
for it takes a great deal .of patience as
anyone will tell you who has : ever
tried it. They were both decorated
I with a view to assist in making, the
day in Wingham a success. Mr. Braw_
