Big Motor Hike -
About 150 men from Listowel Cham-
ber of Commerce motored to Wing -
ham on Wednesday morning, about
9.25, accompanied by the. Listowel
Band. The object of the motor hike
was to advertise Listowel's Dominion
Day Sports. They were met at the
outskirts of the town by Mayor El-
liott, and others, and escorted them
to the town hall, where an official wel-
come was extended to them by the
Mayor, Postmaster and Geo. Spotton,
and afterwards treated to ice cream.
Listowel men believe in putting every-
thing they go into over strong and it
is to be hoped that we will take a les-
