Auto Accident
Dr, J. F McKenzie, who was mot-
oring from Detroit to Ripley on
f 3 j Thursday evening of last week with
his .wife and daughter, larother ' Wm.,
and a party of friends, consisting of
Sherman Stanley, Miss Lena Gordon,
and Mr, Dan McDonald, met with an
accident ten miles north of Grand
Bend Two boys on bicycles were
on the road when the doctor, in order
to avoid striking one of them, turned'
his car out, and went over an embank-;
ment. The car turned over and the
occupants had a narrow escape from
being killed. Those injured were:
Dr. J. F. McKenzie,' face cut; Mrs.
McKenzie, right arm broken and leg
injured; Marion McKenzie, head ' and
arms cut by glass, eight stitches put
in arra and seven in head; Wm. Mc-
Kenzie, shoulder dislocated; Dan Mc-
Donald, Sherman Stanley and Miss
Gordon badly bruised. The injured '!
were taken to a farxuer's house where j :ice Yt �a,.

Saturday were taken back to Detroit.
