A couPle of Old Cards
Mr. W. H. Rintoul brought into our
office weenie of very old cards which
he found while'rneving a partition in
Miss Rnsh's millinery parlors. One is
a shaving ticket of the 0, K. Shaving
Parlor, owned by W. j, Earngey. The
ticket is good for nine shaves and a
iaircut, and we suppose would be sold
for a dollar or probably less. The oth-
er relic is a Christmas Card sent out
to Alex -Ross, who at one time con-
ducted a stationery store in that build-
ing. The Gage. Co, are still selling
stationery and the card was for XmaS

ceived an offer from Crace Church,
Gananoque, has decided ;9 remain in
Campliellford. At a meeting of the
officials of' the Methodist ehurth it
was decided 'unanimously to ask Mr,
Cowell to remain and to raise his sal-
ary to $10oo.o0 a year, the amount of-
fered by the Gananoque congregation.
