The write up of Wingham in the

to have delayed the write-up for

you, 'in favour of.- a War Memorial'?"
You will be given. the opportunity of
voting either yes or no and also
whether or not you favour a park, a
monument or a Memorial Hall. The
estimated cost of the park is $xo,000,
the monument, $5,000 and the memor-
ial hall, $3o,000. -
We have not the space to deal with
this invortant question this week but
we believe the one thing needed most
at Winghara is a 'park, and one could
be secured whiCh would cost the town
a great deal less than $1o,000, where
on -the other hand, a great inany of
our neighboring municipalities have it
monument, very plain stones, which
cost $6,000 or more.
