Quiet Summer Wedding
A'quiet summer wedding took place
on Wednesday, August 9th., at "Maple
Hill Farm," the home' of Mr. Row-
land Ballagh of Teeswater, Ont., when.
his sister, Margaret. Lx Ba'llagh, was
united in marriage to Mr. W. ' Carter,
McKee, of Galt, youngest son of Mr.
and Mrs. WM. McKee 'of Gorrie. The
ceremony was performed 'by Rev. C.
N. McKenzie of Reiniare. The bride
was given away by her brother, enter-
ing the room which was 'tastefully
decorated with ferns and dahlias, to
the strains of Lohengrin Wedding
March played by Miss •Nel.d.a •Wolfe,
Clifford. The bride was gowned in
Ivory Crepe-de-chene and carried " -S
bouquet of Ophelia roses. During the
signing of the register, Mrs. C. N.
McKenzie rendered a solo entitled,
"A Dream." -.The groom's gift to the
bride was a white gold Mesh Bag,to
the pianist and soloist white -gold Bar
Pins. •
Following a luncheon -Served on the
lawn, the happy couple left` on a mot-
or- trip, the bride travelling in a navy
tricotine suit with hat to match. - On
their return --they will reside' at 526
