decided success in every way, the
weather 'being ideal. The tug-of-war
between Bruce and Huron was won
after much tugging by the Huron
boys. The races by old and young
created much excitement, Behnore
baseball team played the brickYard
boys the score being 14 to 7 in favor
of the home boys.

MANITOBA FARMERS WIN
Will Have Majority Over All Other:
Parties
Manitoba is to have a government
of United Farmers, following the pre-
cedent set just a year ago by the Pro-
vince of Alberta. Today the Liberal.
Government of. Hon. T. C. Norris,,
which went to the electors_for a vote:
of confidence, was rejected. Premier;
Norris himself was returned in Lans-
downe his old constituency, and Hon.
Robert Jacob, his new attorney-gener-•

we would like to see them enforce it
on equal terms in both city "grid coun-
try, The spotlight law has been on
the Ontario statutes for a long time
now; and if there is a place where the
law is not 'enforced it is in the cities
and more especially in holier than
