Thomas Olson, of the Harris Abat-
toir, delivered an address in the opera
house, Brussels, on Wednesday after-
noon to the farmers in this district
who are interested in hog raising. Mr.
Olson has recently returned from a
visit to the overseas market and is
well posted. His address was illus-
trated by charts and diagrams.

In your last issue a subscriber asks
whose here? please kindly tell him I'm
here, He suggests a scheme for the
benefit of Wingliam that the Agric-
iiltural Society and other interests

Agricultural Fair Plant and other de-
sirable Institutions such as Skating
Rink and I suppose games of different
kinds. claims that it is an ideal
ground for these purposes, conven-

I Suggest that it is more to the inter-
est of the town that these grounds re-
main and be cultivated for food pro-

day of the death of Mr. John Bark-
leyne
of Duagaon. Deceased had
been very ill with pneumonia and was
found dead in his bed on Thursday
morning, He is survived by his wife
and five married daughters and one
son, David, of the West. Mrs. Albert
