Foster, became principal of the public •schciol of that place. Rev. R. S. Jones read the beautiful and impressive marriage service of the Anglican church_ Lohengrin's wed* ding march was played by Miss Mary McMichael of Wroxeter, as the bride, charminly attired in a dress of ivory taffeta over pink, .;with embroidered. viel and orange .blossoms, and carry- ing a shower bouquet of sunset roses and lily -of -.the -valley, entered with her father. Her. sister; Marguerite, in a dress ot creto crepe de chine, hie felt hat > and carrying,.a with white bouquet of sweetheart roses, acted as bridesmaid, while the groom was sup- ported by his brother, =,Mr,Samuel Jefferson of Auburn. Dr, H. A. Mut- ton, and, Mr, • C. Stafford were ushers. The church was nicely decorated for the occasion After the ceremony the guests to the number of about thirty; were entertained at dinner at the home of the bride's parents, the house being beautifully decorated in pink and white. Mr. and Mrs. Jefferson .left, the sante afternoon on a motor trip to Ann Arbor, Mich., returning by way ,of Detroit and Niagara Falls. The bride travelled in a dress of hon ey dew georgette, trimmed in 'black and silver, with hat, gloves, hoseand pursei to match, a coat of black satin, trimmedwith grey squirrel, and black satin shoes: The groom's gift to thebride was a white gold bar pin, set with pearls, and amethysts, to the' bridesmaid, a ring, to the Rianist a bracelet, to the groomsman initialled cuff -links, and to/ each of the ushers, a tie -pin. On their return, Mr. and Mrs J fferson will -reside in the house, recently vacated by 1Ir.., L. Ashton. We join with their many friends in wishing them long and continued hap- piness .
