Party" Government, or what might
be called a purely `Business Govern-
ment" constructed on up-to-date prin-
cipals, At first glance and without
some study, it might be considered
an utter impossibility, short of a re-
volution, to effect a complete change
in the system of Government in any
country, but Mr. Allen maintains that
it 'would not be a difficult: task for
the intelligent, cool-headed people of
Canada, ,especially in tiieenof the fact
that about fifty per cent of the vot-
ers today refuse to poll their cotes
for any candidate of the old parties
or groups, being completely disgust-
ed and discouraged with the school
boy squabbling between the old par-
ties with today admittedly no real

and formerly of your town, which
may be of interest to your readers,
and other information' I gather from

I visited•him 1 found the doctor busy
in the persuing the columns of your
paper, at first he was non -committal
regarding his work in research, stat-
ing that lie; was ,more anxious to
know how times were progressing
among home folk at Wingham, and
if Jack. King had nominated him for
the Senate and George ,Spotton had
seconded same, I learn later who
these gentlemen were.
Capt. Dr. William Torrance Gal-
braith, V. S., B. Vsc., D. Vsc.,' M. R.
C. V. S., to give him his title in full,
but better known to his friends' as
"Tory", was born on a farm. at
Lakelet, near Gorrie, in the township
of Howick, the son of Mrs S. J. Gal-
braith, of Byron, at London, Ont.,
being a nephew of Wm. Finlay, Low-
er Wingham; Wm. A. Hays, x4th
concession of Howick, and of the
late Rev. Dr. Wm. Galbraith, emi-
nent Methodist Divine of Toronto. A
kinsman of the, Late Field Marshall
Roberts. He comes of a family well
known in the military and engineer-
ing profession in Canada, and is a
brother to Robert'' Hays Galbraith,
(Galbraith O'Leary), well known to
the journalistic world ,and is a twin
brother of Mrs. Col. Arthur Watts,
of London, Ont."He attended the.
publi schools at Bluevale and in
Turnberry, and Wroxeter High
school, Wingham Business College,
and the University of Toronto, grad-
uating with honors from that institu-
tion with postgraduate work over-
seas, he was associated with Dr., C.
S. Tannin, min Board of Health, a h L nd

the ranks holding several important
positions, being associated -with Tap -

on the invention of an automatic

Banting, 'discoverer of Insulin. He'
has held -appointments in the Can-
adian Dept. of Agriculture and the
Postal . Seri -ice. The announcement
