were in attendance at the Decoration
Service at Wingham on Sunday.
The annual service in honor of the
veterans of the Great War was held
in the Community ',Hall last week.
The hall as usual was filled to the
doors with a highly appreciative audi-
ence assembled to pay ,al tribute of.re-
spect to the memory of our departed
heroes and to remind those who are
are with us still of the *aim place
they occupy in .our affections. The
meeting was presided over by Rev.
Dr. Barnby of Queen- St. Church,
Rev. Geo. Telford. M. A.; B, D, of St.
Andrews Church; offered an invoca-
tion while the opening,prayer was ta-
ken by Rev. W. 13. Hawkins. The
Scripture Lesson was ,read by Rev.
James Abrey of Londesboro.
The sermonwhich was greatly en-
joyed by the audience was delivered
by Rev. J. L. Small of 1-larrioston, for-
merly 'of St. Andrews, Church, Blyth.
Th,e choir which had been ':carefully
trained by the Rev. Geo. Telford, was
composedosed of singers from the Angli-
can,
n ltcan,
Queen' St. and St. Andrews
choirs and rendered all their selec-
tioss in splendid style. The i'Halle-
ltijah Chorus" from Handel's. Messiah
and the Te Deurn were greatly enjoy-
ed.
