Laing, Rev-. Geo. Barnard, Rev. R.
Jones and ev F. W. Craik.
Rev. Mr. Craik will preach at Mc-
Intosh Church next Sneday morning

taken from Psalm 139, Verse 7.

of 'severe burns suffered early on Fri-

Mr, Levi Wessley (Lichen Dr.) had
a narrow escape from death, while
making his weekly trip to Stratford
on Friday. When just within a few
miles of Sratford he took a weak
spell and his sedan went over the
bank, completely wrecking the car
and injuring Mr. Wessely quite bad-
ly. Kind friends found him and
brought him to his home here, where
he is now -ender the Dr.'s care. Mr.
Wessely is widely known as he has
on different occasions visited the sur-
rounding towns. His many friends
hope for his speedy recorry.
• There was a meeting of Ladies
•held at the home of Mrs. Hacks on
Saturday night to organize a "Lad-
ies I3owling Club." There were a
nuniber of ladies present. Mrs.
Whitmore was elected President for
the evening and Mrs. :Sandy Sander-
son, Sec.-Treas. The following offi-
cers were elected for the year:—Hon.
Pres., Mrs, McMurchie; Pres., Mrs.
Hacks; est., Vice -Pres., Mrs. Ernie

McCready. It was decided to meet
at the home of Mrs. Whitmore,
