TORY CpRNERS
A large crowd gathered at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Newton on
Monday 'evening last and presented
them with a miscellaneous shower,
Miss Doris Baker read a short ad-
dress, which was suitably respo9cd
to by the bride and groom. The ev-,,
ening was spent in games and danc-
ing. After a dainty lunch the crowd
joined hands and sang, "We're All
Jolly Good Fellows" and other suit-
able songs. The numerous and cost-
ly gifts show the+respect and esteem
the young couple are held in. We all
join in -wishing Ted and Alice many
happy years of wedded life.
