I thought it might be of some in-
terest to your readers to know that
Palm Beach and last but not least the
great -,commerical city of Miami. Per-
haps never in the history of the Unit-
ed States was there sucha real es-
tate boom as there -is' today in the
Stater` of Florida. The whole, State is
practically full of developments, ev-
ery agency claiming their own Spot
the best in the world.- There is
doubtless several places in the State
will succeed in this ' undertaking as
they are selling their climate for more
money than the real estate is worth,
but like our own western Iand boom
that we experienced around 15 years
ago, many of *lose ventures in • the
west came to grief so I fancy they are
overdoing it here. The whole state
is practically under development now

Leonard that the Reeve be empower-
ed to sign the Globe, Indemnity In-
surance Co's renewal application Pub-
lic Liability on Township Roads as
explained by the Company's represent-
ative at ,the meeting. Carried

the time for the Collector . to return
their roll be extended to the Febru-
ary meeting. Carried.
Moved by Inglis and Gamble that
the Council go into committee of the
whole to regulate salaries and ap-
point. officers for the year 5926 with
