BELMORE
Mr. Malcom, one time pastor of
Wroxeter Presbyterian Church, occu-
pied the pulpit in the Union Church,
Sabbath afternoon in the absence of
the Pastor, who is taking his holidays.+
What might be said the largest pie -
nit held in this section for some years,
was held Monday afternoon at Mr,
Ralph Metcalf's, When the Union
Sabbath School, McIntosh, Behnore,'
and the Presbyterian . Congregation
met in harmony. The afternoon pro-
gramme consisted of piano, violin I
and Guitar music, racing, and social
intercourse when lunch was served.
After which football, and•baseball was
played. A most exciting -game of
baseball, between the young married
women and their, hubbies and if those
hubbies never got a move on before,
they had to this time, -but won out by
a small margin.
Miss Eunice Hackney, Toronto, is
visiting under the parental roof.
Mrs.:WM. McGrogan and Edward
of Toronto were visitors in the vill-
age on the nth of July._,•
Mr. and Mrs. Archie Lowry .• of
Toronto,, are renewing acquaintances
