Mrs. John Agnew Passes
There passed away at Edmonton.
on Nov. xoth., at the home of her
daughter and. son-in-law, the Rev. M.
H. Wilson, M. A,, Mrs, Margaret Ag-
new, aged gx years and 6 months.
The remains were laid to rest in Van-
couver, beside her late husband, Mr.
John Agnew,' who predeceased her, 7
years ago. She leaves to mourn her
loss, Mrs. M. H. Wilson of Edmon-
ton and Mrs. E. Pearen of Medicine
Hat, who accohnpanied the remains to
Vancouver, also two daughters in
Pasadena, Mrs. Walter T. Hall and
Miss Hanna Agnew, three sons in
Ohio, Dr. Wm. Agnew in Akron, Dr.
John in Crestline and Dr. Jas. in Fos-
toria and Dr. T. H. Agnew and Dr.
R. Agnew in Vancouver.

Dr. R. C. "Redmond gave a very in,.
teresting address at the Epworth
League in the Methodist on Monday
evening. His subject was a descrip-
tion of a summer vacation at Musko-
ko Lakes and was illustrated by lan-
tern slides.

Mr. R. E. Jackson, Wingham, and
Mr. James Swan, representative . of
Goold Shapley C Muir Co., received
a bad shaking up when the auto in
which they were driving was crashed
into by another car at the corner at
Belgrave an. Monday evening. The
Jackson auto was thrown 3o feet and
turned completely round, and the
contents of the car, which was heavi-
ly laden, were thrown over a fence
near by.
The friend who was driving with
Mr. Dunbar was thrown through the
windshield, his face -and -head being
badly cut. He was imnnedinately ta-
ken to a doctor. The front wheel of
the Jackson car was taken off. Mr.
Dunbar's car was badly smashed. up.
He claimed he did not see the other
oar. Mr. Dunbar was not hurt in any
way, while Mr. Jackson and Mr.
Swan escaped with some bruises and
a bad shaking up. Mr. Jackson and
Mr• _Swan think their car, being heav-
ily loaded, saved their lives.
