Mr Arthur Culbert, 4th con., had the misfortune to loose his barn on :the Haines farm Oct 31, by fire, a .spark from the threshing machine which was in operation, outside the barn, the barn was full of hay, it was soon a mass of flames, with some dif- ficulty the threshing • machine was saved. The loss is covered by insur- ance. Mr. Will Alton, 9 con. spent a city recently with his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. David 'Ferrier.
