was seen on the house top while spar-

Widow of Noted Methodist Divine
Follows Husband'
Following her life partner less than
a year after his death, Mrs. Margaret
Cragg, aged 87 years, widow of the
late Rev. Edward Cra.gg, died at
o'clock Tuesday night, Sept: 16, at
her home, 321 Thirteenth Ave, West,
Calgary, -
Rev. Mr, Cragg, the Oldest Method.-
is,t minister -en Western Canada, whose
annual sermons were a feature of the
religions liee of Calgary, passed to his
lase reward on October 16, 1923, at
the advanced age of 94 years.
Since the death of the aged minister
Mrs. Cragg's health began to fail rap-
idly, ber thoughts turning to a reun-
ion with the husband with whom she
has shared the joys and sorrows of
life for inoin than heel a ceutury. For
the last six months lees. Cragg has
been confined to her bed, and the end
came peacefully Tuesday night. .

Mies Perth Beeler Suffers Nee-
vousi Breakdown
The many Welchem friends of Miss
Perth Butler were shocked on Wed-
nesday to read in the papers that ehe
had eommitted suicide tin her room
in, Regina hospital, where she was un-
dergoing treatment for a nervous
breakdown. Miss Butler was for some
time kindergarten teacher in Wing -
ham Public School amid was beloved
by old and young alike. While in
Wing,ham, ehe made her home with
her sister, Mrs. E, B. Walker, until
Mr. Walker was transferred to the
managership of a Bunk of Commer-
ce in Nova Scotia. Miss Butler is re-
ported to have slashed her throat with
e razor, during a fit of despondency.
