THE FAITH ,MISSION
The Faith Mission was founded by
the late J. G. Govan in 1886, with 'a
view to meeting the felt need of
evangelistic work in the villages of
Scotland. The ,work ,was extended
to Ireland in 1892, more recently to
England, and Wales, and now extends.
to South Africa and Canada.
The Evangelists, called "Pilgrims"
generally work in pairs. They visit
a place for several weeks, more or
less according as circumstances, and
the leadings of the Spirit of God
seem to indicate advisailt;, visiting
among thepeople, and holding meet-.
ings`for the unsaved, and for Christ-
ians, in which they welcome the co-
operation of all who love the Lord
Jesus in sincerity.
The Mission is maintained on the
Faith principle. The needs are laid
before the Lord in prayer, and ' are
supplied through freewill offerings.
The Mission is essentially itiner-
ant, and interdenominational. It
does not establish permanent mission
stations: It does not interfere with:
denominational preferences, and dis-
tinctions, butit leaves those who get
help through the Mission to attach
themselves to whatever Church they
choose,
Pilgrims Waugh and Dorman have•
been missioning in Bruce and Huron,
County. At present they have start
ed a Special Campaign in Wingham.
Regular Baptist Church. . Services..
will be held for the next three weeks•
each evening at 8 o'clock (excepting -
Saturday) also on; Sunday at 11 a.m.
and 7 p.m. Special services will be
held for the boys and the girls.: The.
Pilgrims invite all to attend.
Mr. and Mrs. E. Wadland of Sar-
nia, with Mrs. Campbell and daugh-
ter, Ruth, of Port Huron, spent the •
