here to attend the funeral of his cous-
in, Miss Belle Cook.
It is our sad duty this week to re-
cord the death of . Miss Belle Cook,
the third daughter of the late •Mr.
John Cook and Mrs. Cook, at the
home of her brother, Mr. Fred J.
Cook, Westfield, on 'Tuesday June. 5th
in her 25th year. Miss Cook, had been
ill for several weeks and death reliev-
ed her of her sufferings. To -day we.
miss her kindly smile and friendly
.greeting, The casket was covered
with the most beautiful floral designs
loving fingers ever wrought, all of
which .spoke peace and immortality.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her
mother, seven brothers, Dave, of the
West;- Jasper, of Blyth; Tont, Fred
and Walter, of Westfield; Gordon, of
Cochrane; George, of Belgrave; and
three sisters, Mrs. Snell, Blyth; Mrs.
Reg. Carter and Mrs. Earl McKnight,
of Auburn. The funeral which was
attendedby a. large cortege of sorrow-
ing relations and friendswas held on
Thursday. June zth at 2 o'clock and
was conducted by her pastor, Rev,
Alp-. The community extend to the
bereaved ones . their heartfelt sytn-
path.
