officiated and Walter Wightman play-
ed the wedding. music. The bride, who
was given in marriage by her brother-
in-law, P. Broe'vn, wore a pretty two-
piece costume of coral flat crepe with
hat to match. She carried a shower
bouquet of roses.'A Hudson seal coat
trimmed with squirrel completed her
costume. Miss Beulah Hoddinott was
bridesmaid and J.'..Watt attended the
bridegroom. Miss Isabelle Garden, of
Bunclody, niece of the bride made a
charming flower girl. Pleasing solos
were sung by. Mrs. J.J.. C. Manning and.
Mrs. G. C. Weir, of Winnipeg, sisters
of the bride and bridegroom, and Gor-
don Brown, nephew of the bride, play-

Mr. D. E. Holmes, barrister, had a
busy three days 'last week attending
courts out of town. He was at Kit-
chener on' Thursday taking a: case in
the County.Court there; on Friday he
was at Cobourg, in attendance at 'a
Supreme Court sitting, and from there
County Court case on Saturday. He
-travelled by motor car, the round trip
covering over five hundred miles—Go-
derich Signal.
