Stewart McNaughton, a farmer, of Turnbefry township,met with an un- fortttnate accident while working in the barn, when he fell, breaking a bone in his foot, which will, lay liinm up from work for some weeks, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Kingston and family accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. James' Sell and family, motored to h[arkdale on Friday and spent a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bow- en. While i" here they spent a day at Eugenia Falls. Mrs. M. Robertson, Francis street, fell just outside the kitchen door on ' Monday and broke Iter'ankle. She is quite advanced in years and lay„ for a long time before her plight was dis covered. ' . Mr. and Mrs. James Anderson and son Donald, of Peterboro, and two grandchildren, of Belleville, were vis- itors at Mr, and Mrs. John Galbraith's on the holiday.
