The regular monthly meeting of
the Women's Institute was held at
the home of Mrs. Gibson Gillespie on
Thursday, Nov. 10th, with the pres-
ident in the chair. After the open-
ing exercises, those present answer-
ed •the roll call "My Favorite Vege-
table and how I like it cooked." It
was decided to hold an At -Home,
for the members and their families,
in the Hall on Friday, Nov. 25th. Af-
ter community singing, Mrs. Henry
reach a paper on Thanksgiving, and
Misses, Agnes Gillespie and Dorothy
Pollock sang 'Among My Souvenirs.'
Mrs. Robt. Ross read a splendid pa-
per on Vegetables' and Miss Grace

The W. M. S. of the Ashfield Cir-
cuit will be held at the home of Rev.

from Detroit on Saturday to visit his
brother, Mr, Jim Hackett and Mrs.
Hackett, returning home on Sunday.

Crozier, 6th con., who has been laid
up with ,the measles and bronchitis.

called. to Hamilton, last week owing
to the serious illness of her daugh-
ter, Mrs. Wm. Begley.
