cupied the pulpit in Knox Presbyter-
ian church on Sunday. Dr. Connors
is a forceful speaker.
The Sunday School of Bluevale
United Church will hold their annual
entertainment in the Church on Dec-
ember 24th. The chief feature will
be, a short play entitled "Snowbound
an Christmas Eve."
Mr. and Mrs. Roger Oke, of Vying
ham, were visitors in the village on
Sunday.
Don't forget the Christmas enter -
tainnient to be held in Browntown
Church on Tuesday evening, Decem-
ber 22nd. A good program has been
prepared. Everybody welcome. Ad-

S, S. No. 10 Morris is holding a
Christmas entertainment in .James-
town hall, on the evening of Decem-
ber 23rd at 8 o'clock. A good pro-
gram of • dialogues, recitations, songs,
church.
Quite a commotion was caused in
the village on Thursday evening and
in the surrounding country, owing to
the fire in the smoke -stack of Mr.
Cox's chopper. To many it looked as
though the Institute Hall was on ire.

Sunday at Teeswater with Mr. and
Mrs. Green.
