with Gyproe
ERE is a wallboard that does not burn, made. from gypsum rock into sheets 4 to 10 feet
long, 4 feet wide and 3/8 of an inch thick. It is
used for interior walls, ceilings and partitions.
As well' as being fire-resistant, it has structural.
strength, insulation value and is draught and
vermin -proof. Use Gyproc Joint Filler for seal-
ing the joints, between the tall, broad sheets of
wallboard.
When you are "doing over" any room in the
house or adding new ones in the attic or base-
. ment, use Gyproc for walls and ceilings because
you can nail it directly over _ the old surface.
Gyproc is also an excellent base for Alabastine,
Gyptex or wallpaper.
Gyproc is Canada's pioneer non -burning gypsum
wallboard. Ask your nearest dealer for full
details Wand a Gyproc direction sheet. Or write
us for the FREE booklet, `Building and Re-
modelling with Gyproc".

British Egg Market
In the current issue of the foreign
egg market report the Poultry Div -
lion of the Dominion Department of
Agriculture indicates g a s that Great Bri-
tain at the present time is import-
ing upwards of 4,640,000 dozen eggs
per week. Denmark, the Netherlands
and Poland are the largest` contribu-
tors to this huge volume .of exports;,
other countries include the Irish Free
State,_Belghim, Finland, France, Ger-
many, Italy, Sweden, China and
Egypt. Canada is not, at the present
time, listed as a consigning country.
although a market which imports
such huge quantities of eggs should
hold something of opportunity for
Canadian producers.
Why We Use Eggs
Sonie of the reasons why we use
eggs are because they are one of our
best foods, especially for growing
girls and boys; because they acid fig -
your to cakes, puddings, salad dress-
ings, custards, etc.; because they give.
lightness to cakes, doughnuts, muf-
fins, etc.; and because we like to use
good, clean, fresh foods which are
produced on our own farms, In Can-
ada the federal system of grading',
gives the consumer complete assur-
ance of quality and satisfaction,
Department of Agriculture note.
Housing Swine
"Expensive buildings are quite un-
necessary to produce healthy litters,
or to grow market hogs. Where the
climate is not too damp, hog cabins
of, one -ply boards can be used a large
part of the year; These bog cabins
are constructed with hinged sides so
that additional shade will be provided.
during the summer months. Brood
sows and feeder pigs winter well in
high cabins. On the prairies addit-
ional protection is secured by straw
banking the cabins." -Pamphlet 135,
