tended the funeral of the late Mrs.
Joe Switzer, who passed away last
Wednesday at the home of her dau-
ghter, Mrs. Joe Hodgins and was
buried in Teeswater cemetery on Fri-
day last.

and Mrs. John Kilpatrick of Crewe,

turned with Dr. Harold Robinson, to
spend a week with him in Walkerton.

Mabel and Beatrice spent Christmas
with the former's son, Mr. Gershom
Johnston of E. Wawanosh.

the nomination in Belgrave on Mon-
day.
Mr. Russel Reid from Brantford,

with their mother, Mrs. A. Reid, over
the holiday, and Mr. Reid left on

of his mother, who resides with her

Council of Turnberry was held on
Monday afternoon in the C.O.F. hall,
at which all'the old officers were re-
turned for the corning year. Wm. Au-
stin and David Holmes were,nomin-
'ated as new councilmen, and Peter S.
McEwen and R. Grain for Reeve, but
all. agreed they would not be the
cause of an election, hence the old
,Council were all returned.

presentation of a beautifu chair. Mr,
Moffatt has a host of friends in this
annnunity who are sorry to see him
leave, but our loss is Wingharn's gain,
and the best wishes of all go with
him to his new home.
