WAWANOSH 'The: annual meeting of the W.M.S. of Brick United Church was held in the church on Thursday, December 11th, at 2.30' p.m., with ,the president, Mrs. Robert Coultes in the chair. The meeting was opened by singing, and the Lord's Prayer was then repeated in unison. The Scripture lesson was read by Mrs. Stewart McBurney. lvtrs. Coultes gave a paper, which was followed by a reading by Miss Beat - 1 rice Beecroft. Both Mrs. McBurney. :and Mrs. Chas. Shiell gave short pa- :pers. The Secretary -treasurer gave a 'report of the last annual meeting, al- so stating that the allocation had been !met. Mrs. Coultes resigned her posi- t tion, so she was then .elected to take charge of the election of officers for '1931, which resulted as follows; H. Mrs. Garry Stewart of Manitoba, is here visiting with her sister, Mrs. John Clubb, and her brother, Mr. T. Inglis. Mr. Millan Moore returned to High School on Monday after being ill at his home here last week. Wawanosh, ,having farmed' for many years on the 10th, near Fordyce. •He leaves to mourn him, besides his widow, one daughter. This community extends sympathy to the bereaved family.
