BLYTH Mrs, Janes Richmond of Pilot Mound, Man., is visiting friends in this vicinity. Miss Ross of Toronto was the guest of her brother, Dr. 3. C. Ross during the week. The Horticultural Society are busy planting and filling up the street beds also the park on Dinsley street. The members of the I.O.L. are holding their annual Church service on Sunday, June 22nd, in Mernorial Hall. Rev. Mr. Doan Of Clinton will be the speaker. McKay who has been confined to his home for a couple of weeks is able to be out again. The play entitled the Village Law- yer, put on by Dungannon Young People on Friday evening in Memor- ial Hall, was enjoyed by an apprec• iative audience. Each individual part was well portrayed. Rev. The death of Mr. George Webb, which occurred early Saturday even- ing came as a shock to his many friends. Mr. Webb who has been ser iously ill several times during the last six months seemed to be improv- ing and had been able to be up and around a little •until' Friday evening, when 'lie took worse and death re- lieved his intense suffering on Satur- day evening. Mrs. Webb andthe. family have the sincere sympathy of many friends, • Misses Gladys and Caroline Webb of Fort Willian arrived home on Monday evening.
